Our Aistear topic for February was the farm. We learned about the work of farmers, farm machinery and where our food comes from. We constructed farm buildings, and painted pictures of the farm which are displayed outside our classroom. We enjoyed playing with the farm set in small world and being farmers in role play.

We have been having lots of fun doing football skills with Niall, our coach from Colmcilles GFC.
Our p.e. module for this month was dance. We have been enjoying action songs and dances.
Our Aistear topic for January was Journeys. At the role play station we were pilots, check in desk people, passport control and security guards. At the small world station we explored the airport and also journeys made by boat and spaceship. At the malleable station we made lots of different things connected to the topic of journeys and we also painted aeroplanes. Liam Ussher allowed us to board his double decker bus. This was very exciting as many of us had never been on a double decker before and we were thrilled to go upstairs. Thank you Liam!
We have been learning important skills like turn taking, team work and ball handling skills with Coach.
